Infant Reflux and Pediatric GERD

oes your baby or child always seem to be crying, spitting or throwing up and/or visibly uncomfortable. Do you have a newborn who spends their days coughing and/or wheezing and just plain miserable?  Has your baby been labeled as having colic?  It may not actually be colic, infant reflux or GERD could be the cause.  We are here to help you navigate through the maze of tests, treatments and emotions that can accompany a baby with reflux.

InfantRefluxDisease.com is your complete guide for living with, treating and managing, a baby or child living with  infant reflux and/or pediatric GERD.

It is estimated that at least fifty percent of all newborns (up to 85% of premature babies) are born with some degree of infant reflux and that number is rising.  While it's true that most of these babies outgrow their condition within the first few months of life and many do not require medical intervention for their reflux, there are a percentage who do not outgrow it and are really bothered by their infant reflux.  There are also many who suffer dreadful complications and do not respond to even the most aggressive treatment.

We've Redesigned for 2009!

If you're a repeat visitor you might notice the face lift we've recently undergone (yes, again). Our goal for this redesign was a cleaner design that's both easier to navigate and easier to update. We've also added several new articles and you can watch for even more to be added in the coming months.
