I have heard about success with Goats Milk. From what I understand it is the closest thing to breast milk. However, it generally needs to be fortified to get all the necessary vitamins and iron.
That's a good tip about goat's milk! It's worth a go...also, I'll see if I can get a fortified version. We see a pediatric nutritionist this week - she may have some input too. I'll let you know if I hear of anything from her - I'm sure that I'm not the only one wondering about this one. Afterall, quite a few GERDlings have MSPI too.
Maybe if you do a very slow wean - adding tiny amounts of formula to breastmilk over a period of a good few weeks - she will not notice that she is now drinking (objectively yucky) formula. That's what I did when the Dr recommended soy formula for Sam. I gave him a bottle, and he completely refuse. But two or three weeks later he was drinkingt hat same bottle perfectly happily, because I'd made the change so subtle and gradual. Good luck!

(Sam's drinking formula much better. He is now putting tiny bits of some table food in his mouth and swallowing them!!! The bulk of his nutrition still comes from foods of pureé consistency, though.)
